# Veronika's recovery journey

 My name is Veronika. I'm a project manager and entrepreneur, fueled by the passion stemming from my first-generation American upbringing and medical journey.

In 2018, at 16 years old, I experienced a traumatic four-wheeler accident, resulting in various long-term health challenges. Some of these conditions, such as the paralysis of my dominant right arm, a spinal fusion, and short-term brain damage, have had a lasting impact on how I perceive the world.

Despite my initial struggles, including difficulty taking care of myself, I evolved. After years of learning to manage my conditions and navigate an often-inaccessible world, I successfully solo-traveled to nine countries in five months. Though strangers helped along the way, my dream is a world where everyone is accommodated for in life's beautiful experiences.

Throughout my recovery journey, I've paid attention to the process guided by top neuroscientists. A fire was ignited within me, revealing opportunities to enhance patient recovery and create better methods for tracking neurological triggers. Almost losing my life fueled audacity, leading me to enter every room and industry I've dreamed of, driven by the belief that you only live once.

Despite a rocky start with challenges like being unable to give right handshakes, I've embarked on a fulfilling career. I've begun to live my wildest dreams, and my life mission is to ensure that more people live theirs.
